In Loving Memory of

Clarence Eugene Magill

October 14th, 1946 - June 24th, 2025

Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Clarence Eugene Magill, known as Eugene, who left us on June 24, 2025. Born on October 14, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, he was the son of Clarence and Imogene Magill. Eugene grew up in Estacada, where he completed his education, graduating from Estacada High School in 1964.

Eugene honored his country by serving in the Army, where he was drafted in 1966 and served as a military police officer in Vietnam. After his service, he continued to make a living as a dedicated truck driver until his retirement and spent many years owning and operating a Christmas tree farm on the land where he grew up in Estacada.

Eugene had a passion for the outdoor life, enjoying hobbies such as camping, fishing, and hunting. A true enthusiast of American muscle cars, he had a keen appreciation for all things with a motor – the faster the better.

Eugene leaves behind his daughters, Sarah (Todd) Lowles and their children, Carolyn and Adam; and Robin Eastwood along with her children, Nathaniel, Sydney, Joshua, Jacob, and Jessica. He is also survived by his sister, Dianna Gobler. Eugene will be dearly missed.
