Charlotte Ann Fisher

Obituary

In loving memory of Charlotte Ann Fisher (Sanders), who peacefully passed away on April 19, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her daughter. She was born on August 26, 1943, in Mitchell, Indiana.
As a young woman, Charlotte found joy in nurturing life in all its forms. She had a natural talent for gardening and developed a deep love for houseplants, transforming her home into a lush sanctuary of greenery. Her dedication to her botanical friends was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, a quality that defined her relationships with family and friends alike.
Charlotte's greatest joy came from her role as a mother and later as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She poured her heart and soul into raising her daughter, Mary Anna Schultz, working hard all her life through various jobs. This was important to her, as she was a single mother raising Mary Anna. Charlotte worked tirelessly from the age of 18 to 72, ensuring that her daughter had everything she needed to thrive.
In addition to her love for family and plants, Charlotte had a fondness for simple pleasures, such as enjoying a cup of coffee from her favorite Starbucks. For Charlotte, Starbucks wasn't just a coffee shop—it was a place of solace and comfort, where she could pause, reflect, and savor the moment.
Her sister, Marylou Johnson, was her best friend and shared her love of plants and her green thumb, passing this down to her granddaughter Anna.
Charlotte's beloved dog RJ was her furbaby. She adored him and cherished their walks around the house outside, especially when she was mobile. They would often go for ice cream together, creating cherished memories of companionship and love.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Anna Schultz; her granddaughter, Anna Norris (Husband, David); great-grandchildren, Patrick and Eevie Norris; her brothers, Fred Sanders (wife, Donna) and David Sanders (wife, Susan); sister, Marylou Johnson (husband, Virgil); and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte is preceded in passing by her parents, Wayne Albert and Mary Louise Sanders (Garrison); her brother, Tom Sanders; and niece Leslie Wilson (Sanders).
Calling hours for Charlotte will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Glen Greiner officiating. A graveside service will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
As we bid farewell to Charlotte, let us hold dear the memories she leaves behind.
