Obituary

Longtime Beavercreek resident, Carol Ann Byhre died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She was 85. A private family gathering will be held. Carol Ann Byhre was born in DesMoines, Iowa on March 13, 1934. The daughter of Arthur and Mildred Wilson. She moved to Portland and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was married to Glenn Byhre and they made their home in Beavercreek. Together they owned and operated a retail store in Molalla and a small farm with cows, rabbits, chickens and her pet dogs and cats. Carol Ann enjoyed arts and crafts and vegetable gardening. Survivors include her beloved husband, Glenn of Beavercreek; daughter, Karen Cusic; son, David Schmidt; sister, Jeannie Schwan; 10 grandchidren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Hartley and twin sisters, Dorothy Perrine and Diana Bastow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Molalla VFW Post #3973
