Obituary
Carl S. Meade, 64 of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born to the late James and Sybil Meade.
Carl loved spending time with friends and family. He had a hard exterior, but a soft spot for his grandkids and children (especially his daughter) He probably wouldn't admit it, but Tina was the love of his life. He enjoyed playing golf on the Xbox once a week with his son and Scotty. He would often go have a drink and shoot pool with his son, brothers, and friends.
Carl took pride in his music and loved the guitar. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle down to brown county.
Carl traveled to Galveston, TX once or twice a year to spend time with his family. Anyone who knew Carl, knew he hated spending money. His brothers liked to joke that he still had the first dollar he ever made. Carl was a hard worker, a provider, a competitor, a grandpa, a father, a brother, and friend
Carl is survived by his children James (Angelique) Meade and Amanda Meade; six grandchildren and three brothers Jim Meade, Don Meade and Jeffrey Meade. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
