Obituary
Carl A. Linderson, Jr. of Vero Beach, formerly of Lake Worth, Florida, joined God’s Heavenly Choir, Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was born on May 7, 1929 in New Bedford, Massachusetts and lived to be 94 years old. Carl attended Virginia Tech then enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was employed by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for 33 years.
He was a lifetime member of Lakeside United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir until he was 91. He loved to make a joyful noise! Carl lived his faith daily by the way he treated everyone with kindness, patients, love and joy. He was known by many as “St. Carl”. He loved to fish, make wood crafts and do puzzles. He also enjoyed “puttering” around the house. If we could break it, he could fix it.
One of the accomplishments he was most proud of was earning his Eagle Scout Badge.
He is predeceased by his wife, Joan Linderson and granddaughter, Wendy Michelle Pylman.
Survived by his three daughters, Donna Linderson, Karen Penney (Bill) and Wendy Graff (Todd). Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Scott Pylman, Lindsay Penney Burcham (Jason), Carl Penney (Rachel), Sammie Penney Kalain (Kody), Zachary Graff and Sarah Graff (Brett).
The family will receive friends Friday, April 12, 2024 from 11:30 AM until 12:15 PM at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33449. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 PM Friday, April 12, 2024 at South Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
Sing loudly Carl, we know we will hear you!
