Obituary

Dang Bunpan Christenson

It must surely be true, that Dang Bunpan Christenson is at last at peace and without pain, perched on lofty clouds, a ring-side seat previously arranged, just for her. She is looking down upon a spectacular view of her Lords spacious creation of waters. That was something she loved to see, and did so as much as she could.

In ones minds-eye could be visualized, her flight from earth, when she took up the hand of her Creator and moved beyond we mortal beings, fleeing to a much better place. Perhaps its pathway was lined with butterflies of all color and styles, fluttering their gossamer wings. Could it be perhaps that birds flew to the tallest of trees and watched the parade of joy, bowing their head in memory of an earth child that loved nature and held it in her heart...

Dang was born July the first of Nineteen fifty-five and passed away June fourth of this year. She grew up in Thailand...moving from Merced, CA to Crescent City, she remained here for twenty five years. Roger and she shared a life of love since the marriage July fifteenth, nineteen seventy-nine. They are survived by their sons Taylor and Dacian, as well as a daughter Nancy, a member of the military.

Dang was an avid seamstress. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Dang was an excellent cook.
She has traveled extensively. Dang was an active member of the New Life Community Church on Second and D Street.

Stepchildren were Bruce (Gina) Christenson of Fontana, CA; Tim (Lori) Christenson of Claremont, CA; Kathy Thacker of Silverdale, WA and Linda (Martin) Orro of Lake Elizabeth, CA.

There were six grandchildren and three great grandchildren in their life. She will be like a missing flower in the petals of life, to all that knew her. Dang was a sweet and gentle lady and will never be forgotten.

Any who wish to contribute in her name and memory, may contribute to either/or the Foursquare Church School or New Life Community Church.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held a the Lighthouse Inn Conference Room 681 HWY 101 South in Crescent City on Saturday, June 23rd at 1:00 P.M.
