Obituary

Born March 22, 1955 and died September 8, 2021. He was 66 years old.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Bill was born in Eugene, Oregon. He began his career for United Airlines as an aircraft mechanic in San Francisco in 1985, then transferred to Portland in 1988. He retired from United with 25 years in 2011. He then worked for the Boeing Company in Everett, Washington as an aircraft technician at the Paine field for seven years, retiring in 2018. He thoroughly enjoyed downhill skiing, flying kites with his daughter Linzy and son-in-law Scott, white water rafting and other outdoor sports. He and his wife Lori, enjoyed riding their mountain bikes, spending time with grandchildren, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Putman; daughter Linzy Abbott; sister Barb Putman; seven grandchildren and many wonderful friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Bill at Sandy Assembly of God, Saturday, October 9th at 2:00 pm. The address is 39800 HWY 26, Sandy, Or. 97055
