Obituary

Betty L. McCart 80, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born to the late Simon Woodall and Nora Woodall

Betty was retired from Miller's Manor after 25 years of service as a cook. Betty enjoyed spending time at her lake house with her children and grandchildren. They were her greatest joy. She loved playing the guitar and singing with family members. 

Betty is survived by her children Tonya (James) Murphy and Norman McCart; Grandchildren Miranda (Ian) Hobson and Dustin Nardi; Great Grandchildren; Jaelyn Jones, Jasmyne Hill, Jayona Hill, Gabriel Hobson, Ava Calloway, Jackson Calloway, Dustin Nardi, Jr and Isabella Nardi; Great Great Grandchildren Gia'Vanna Jones and Luciano Jones and her three siblings, Jack (Barbara) Woodall, Eillene (William) Wood, Joyce  (Donald) Mackey. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren , Tatjana McCart, Deven McCart, five siblings Clarence (Bud) Woodall, Lorene (Virgil) Chitwood, Freda (Herbert) Coffey, Geraldine (Stanley)Tabor and Rosalie Vandermeulen. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Betty will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
