Obituary

Estacada resident, Betty Berry, died at her home on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was 86.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Betty Ann McClusky was born May 17, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to Thomas and Narissa Louise (Hines) McClusky. She was raised in Englewood, California. She met her future husband, James Berry, in grade school. They were married 68 years . They continued to live in California where they started their family. Betty worked in the Aerospace industry for several and later became a secretary. In the early 1980’s, they moved to Estacada. In 1998, James died suddenly. Betty continued to live in Estacada until her death.

She was an avid quilter as a member of the Honor Society for quilters and Skip-a-Week Quilting Club. She enjoyed gardening and yardwork.

Survivors include her daughters Linda Pinnix, Yvonne Borden, Debbie Ridley; son, James Berry, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
