Obituary

Barbara was born July 10, 1946 in Ticonderoga, NY.

Barbara had her own child daycare business before her retirement. She was affectionately known as Auntie to the children and parents for whom she worked for. She loved all children and was a protector of them all. When out and about, she would compliment the parents of children.

She was also an avid country music listener and dancer.

Barbara is survived by her husband Ken. She is also survived by 1 sister, Nancy (Joe) Adams 2 children, Darcie Powell and Steven Tsapatsaris II, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mom and dad, Hubert and Ruth Burgess, sisters, Ruth Ann McBain and Marilyn McDowell.
