Obituary
Armando Correa-Osorio, 98, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on March 4, 2024. He was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on February 22, 1926 to Justo Monge-Osorio and Providencia Correa-Osorio. In 1948, he married Ana Marrero and enjoyed 76 years of marriage until Armando’s passing.
Armando lived in Paterson, New Jersey. He worked as a machine operator for a paper mill company in Fairlawn, New Jersey for 38 years, and retired in 1988 before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1990. He was a huge fan of the Mets baseball team and loved to play dominos.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Roberto Correa Osorio and Alexandro Correa Osorio; three sisters, Cruz Maria Correa Osorio, Elena Osorio Montanez, and Matilda Correa Osorio. He is also preceded in death by his son, Gilberto (Lippy) Osorio, and daughter, Lydia L. Osorio-Alston.
Armando leaves behind his wife, Ana E. Marrero-Osorio; two sisters, Maria Luisa Correa Osorio, Olga Correa Osorio; one daughter, Maria E. Osorio-Carrasquillo; seven grandchildren, Latisha Osorio, April Osorio-Howard (Charlie), Frank Osorio-Davila, Lissette Osorio-Thomas, Jennie Osorio-Carrasquillo, Gilberto Osorio-Rau Jr., and Melissa Osorio-Logan (Corey); sixteen great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A viewing of Armando will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. Armando's Celebration of Life service is from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm.
Armando's family has asked that all attendees please dress in black and white.
