Obituary

Estacada resident, Anne passed peacefully in her sleep at home April 26 after a struggle with cancer.

Anne May Hoffmeister was born December 7, 1933 in Eagle Creek, Oregon to Ernest and Lela Hoffmeister. She married Bob May, May 9, 1954 in a little church in Boring, Oregon. She passed away 13 days short of their 67 anniversary. Anne raised 3 children and has 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her oldest son Pat passed away in 2005.

Anne is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Vicki of Milwaukie; son, Scott (Laura) of Estacada and all the grandchildren.

At her request there will be a private service for her family at a later date.

Mom I love you more than words. You taught me how to can. Freeze. And I love you more than anything. I cannot believe you are gone.
