In Loving Memory of

Alta Corrine LaVelle

December 13th, 1929 - July 21st, 2021

Obituary

Alta Corrine LaVelle was born in Langdon, North Dakota, to John and Ellen Johnson on December 13, 1929. She was the 13th of 15 children.

In her teens, she moved from North Dakota to Oregon. On August 4, 1950, she married Gerald William LaVelle and had two children, Jo and Lonnie.

Alta passed peacefully in Milwaukie, Oregon, on the evening of July 21, 2021.

Alta is survived by her sister Margie Doss, her daughter Joanne Walker, her son-in-law David K. Walker, her grand-daughter Chelsea White and three great grandchildren, Keaton, Andrew and Shaylynn. She leaves behind many other family and friends.

She lived her life according to her faith and her trust in the Lord. Alta loved fresh flowers, puppies and long walks. But her number one love was for her heavenly Father.

Alta will be greatly missed by so many. However, we are all comforted by the fact that she is now home.
