Robert Leavy

Robert Leavy, 80, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on Sunday July 2, 2023 at AdventHealth Orlando.  He was born on October 4, 1942 in New York City, New York to the late Walter and Marie (Lukowski) Leavy.  Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He later retired in 2004 after 34 years as Supervisor of The Division of Youth and Family Services in New Jersey.  After retiring he moved to Port Orange, Florida with his Wife.  He enjoyed walking on the beach, coin collecting, and gardening.  He especially loved gardening his flowers, calla lilies, hibiscus and white and red roses just to name a few.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Ruth (Lewentowicz) Leavy;  Three Children, Robert (Teresa) Leavy, Jonathan Leavy and Lynda Leavy and Two Grandchildren, Jessica Leavy and Mark Leavy.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am with the Funeral Service being held at 11:00am on Friday July 7, 2023 in The Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.  Burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
