Obituary

Michael Roderick, 72, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on December 14, 2024, in his hometown. Born on May 23, 1952, in Muncie, Michael developed a lifelong passion for fishing. He cherished the time he spent with his son, Jay, often dedicating six to seven months at a time to their shared love of fishing.
Michael’s love for the outdoors and the memories he created with his family will forever be remembered by those who knew him.
Micheal is survived by his sons, Jeremy Roderick (wife, Melissa), Jay Roderick (wife, Francie); brother, Robert Roderick (wife, Pam); sisters, Liz Carr (husband, Thom), Cathay Roderick, Jamie Johnson, Toni Ragens (husband, Tony), Diana Lawhorn (husband, Charles), Jackie McIntyre (husband, Bart), Lori McCullough; sister-in-law, Theresa Hart; several grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Michael was preceded in passing by his wife, Denisa Roderick), parents’, and multiple siblings.
Michael’s wishes were to be cremated. The family has entrusted Garden View Funeral Home for their arrangements.
