Obituary

Funeral Service will at 11 AM Monday, November 6, 2023 at Crestwood Chapel for Lillian Braden Owens, age 98, who passed away Friday November 3, 2023. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the hour of service. Rev. Seth Barber and Matt Rose will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services. 
Mrs. Owens was a member of Glencoe First Baptist Church. She was a dedicate wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was was a wonderful homemaker that always managed to have great meals and snacks cooking in the kitchen, make beautiful clothing for her four girls, and have her family involved church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold Owens; parents Marie and Early Braden, sister Katherine Headrick, brother Joe Braden. 
She is survived by her daughters Gwinette (Bobby) Watson, Janice (Bill) Gore, Sherry (Randy Schomburg) Owens, and Dianna (Noel) Jackson; grandchildren Lori (Philip) Allen, Phillip (Tammy) Watson, Gina (Bryan) Hayes, Tina Jackson, Tammy Hix, Shea (Tim) Shaneyfelt, Jamie (David)Kueny, and Shane (Patti) Hardman; 16 Great Grandchildren; 13 Great Great Grandchildren; brother John Earl Braden; her beloved pup Crissy; and a host nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
Pallbearers will be David Kueny, Kade Kueny, Kody Kueny, Read Shaneyfelt, Taylor Shaneyfelt, Owen Hayes, Tim Shaneyfelt, and Jimmy Clay. 
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Ready Sunday School Class. 
The family would like to express their special thanks to The nurses and staff of Hope Hospice; caregivers Beth Andrade, Brooke Kellet, and Kendra; as well as the members of her Sunday School Class and church for the prayers, cards, and meals.
