Obituary

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, November 16,2023, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. Harley “Doyle” Matthews, age 80, of Rainbow City, who died Monday November 13,2023.Reverend Laull Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.
 Doyle will be remembered for his love of football ,fishing and he especially loved his nieces and nephews. He retired from The Alabama Highway department as an engineer.
 He was loved and will be dearly missed.
 He is preceded in death b y parents Harley and Laura Matthews, siblings Wanda Jenkins, Gloria(Tom) Noah, Gerald Matthews, and Davey Matthews.He is survived by brother Michael(Renea) Matthews and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10 am until the time of service.
