Obituary

Effie M. Birch 90 of Greenwood passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She was born to the late Dewey and Gladys Hildenbrand. 

Effie was a member of Shelbyville Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed watching basketball and spending time with family. Effie worked at Blue Cross Blue Shields. 

Effie leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Byron Birch and Tracee (Jeff) Bullock; one grandchild Trevor Bullock and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by both parents; her husband Jimmie Birch and five siblings. 

The visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2024 from Noon until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Effie will be laid to rest next to her husband Jimmie at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Noon.
