Obituary
JoAnn Wilson Beaty, age 76, of Okolona, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit in Tupelo. She was born in Okolona, January 22, 1948 to James Albert and Bertha Mae Wilson. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended New Freedom Full Gospel Church in Okolona until her health declined.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James Ray Beaty of Okolona; three daughters, Teresa McDonald (David) of Okolona, Tanya Dickerson (Dewayne) of Mooreville, and Tina Norwood (Clint) of Mooreville; nine grandchildren, Andrew McDonald (Ashley), Haley Dickerson, Amber Buse (Kasey), Amanda Guyton (Devin), Karli McCoy (Mark), Wesley Norwood, Lakyn Dickerson, Alex McDonald (Karleigh), and Sadie
Norwood; seven great-grandchildren, Brayden McDonald, Rylan McKay, Ava McKay, Aubrey Buse, Bentley Buse, Landon McDonald, Mackinsey Guyton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and great-grandson, Cayden Guyton.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, April 29, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Mrs. Debra Parchman and Bro. Randy Parchman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. The family would like to thank the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit for the wonderful care they provided during her stay.
Pallbearers will be Andrew McDonald, Alex McDonald, Wesley Norwood, Brayden McDonald, Kasey Buse, Devin Guyton, Mark McCoy, Sam Warren, Cliff Norwood, and Rylan McKay.
