Obituary

Carol Denise Shook, 68 of Florence, AL passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale Co.  and was a member of Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.  

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m.

Survivors include her daughters, Tara Hammond and Heather Wright (Bobby); son, Todd Shook; granddaughter, Kaleigh Wilder; sister Renia High (Tim); nieces, Suzanne Fish (Wade) and Leeanne Fox (Scott) and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Shook; parents, Hubert and Pauline Redding.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Nina Lovelace for their loving care and support.
