Obituary
Mrs. Alma (Polly) Elizabeth Hamilton, age 93 of Florence, passed away on January 22, 2024. Services will be held on January 28, 2024 at the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2. Visitation will begin at 12. Burial will be held at Tri- Cities Memorial Gardens. She was a member of the Petersville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hamilton is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer Hendon and Rachael Stevenson; husband, James A. Hamilton; brothers, Sonny and Douglas Hendon and grandchildren, Benjamin David Hamilton, Jr. ,and Alex Laster. She is survived by her children, James Wesley Hamilton (Sandra), David Hamilton, Shirley Hamilton Carter (Allen), Bobby Hamilton (Yim), Connie Hamilton, Beverly Hamilton; thirteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
