Obituary
On May 18, 2024, we bid farewell to Donald “Don” Lee Friddle, a devoted husband, father, and friend. Born in Eaton, Indiana, on March 31, 1933, Don's life was marked by 68 years of unwavering love and devotion to his beloved wife, Marilyn Friddle (Rowland).
Don's love story with Marilyn was one of enduring devotion and shared dreams. Through life's highs and lows, they stood by each other's side, their bond growing stronger with each passing year. Theirs was a love that weathered storms and flourished in moments of joy, laughter, and unwavering support.
Don's presence brought light and warmth to all who knew him, his contagious smile reflecting the love and happiness he found in the company of family and friends. His passion for life, from savoring his coffee to casting a line into the waters, enriched the lives of those around him. Don worked at Marsh Supermarket for 48 years and retired as corporate cash manager. He very proudly served his country in the Air Force for 4 years.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Friddle; his son, Michael Friddle (wife, Sue Ellen); his daughters, Michele Ogle (partner, Dan Marshall) and Pam Campbell; granddaughters, Lindsey and Kasey Campbell; great-granddaughter, Norah Nickens; and nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in passing by his parents, Charles and Belle (DeBerry) Friddle; and his sister, Kay Henderson; sons-in-laws, Paul Ogle and Don “Duke” Campbell.
Calling hours for Don will be held at Garden View Funeral Home from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on May 28, 2024. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. The burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with military honors.

As we honor Don's memory, let us celebrate the love, joy, and friendship he brought into the world. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will be cherished forever by his beloved Marilyn and all who knew him.
