Obituary

Miss Heather Michelle Query, Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was 31. Heather was born July 10, 1990 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of Charlene (Mefford) Gomez and John Query.
Heather, after high school, attended and graduated from Regency School of Cosmetology and began a successful career as a very talented and sought-after hairstylist. Her giftedness as a stylist carried over to her artistic side where she enjoyed drawing. Heather was very particular about her appearance as well as being very organized and made sure everything was in its place. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.
Heather had a competitive spirit and enjoyed sports, especially softball. She looked forward to spending time hanging out with her family. She dearly loved her children and family and had a kind heart and was always giving of herself to help others.
Heather is survived by her parents, Charlene (Andy ‘Drew’) Gomez and John (Cindy) Query; her children, Deacan Cooper and Keagan Cooper; her grandmother, Barbara Mefford, her grandfather, Les Steinbrook; her siblings, Michael Query, Kayla Gomez, Colton Sutton and Matt Sutton; her niece, Jocelyn as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Heather is preceded in passing by her grandparents, Sylvester Mefford, Ernesto and Shirley Gomez, Jim and Treva Query and Susie Steinbrook and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
