The BPUSA Lowcountry Chapter of The Bereaved Parents of the USA (BP/USA) is a self-help support organization. All members are parents, grandparents, and siblings, who are grieving the death of a child.


Bereavement Programming, Hospice & Community Care

Hospice & Community Care offers a wide range of bereavement and support services to Hospice families and community members at no charge. Support groups are offered for men, women, children and families. Hospice & Community Care also offers community programs through our speakers bureau, workplace services, school outreach and crisis response.

For those who have suffered a loss, counseling is available to our community through Hospice Care of the Lowcountry’s Bereavement Services department. It makes no difference regarding whether the person who died was a Hospice Care of the Lowcountry patient, where the person lived, or the relationship of the survivor.

Good Grieving

Project Hope: Youth & School-Based Grief Support

In cooperation with local schools and guidance counselors, HospiceCare staff provides support groups on site to grieving children and teens at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. These groups help the youth cope with their grief and commemorate their loved one.

Sunrise Kids Program
