Hawaii Grief Centers

Family Grief Camp, Hospice of Hawaii

860 Iwilei Road
Honolulu, HI 96817

Hospice Hawaii’s annual Family Camp is for children and teens (7-17) and adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. In a safe and supportive environment, they explore their loss with other families touched by grief.

Grief Support, Hospice of Hilo

1011 Waianuenue Avenue
Hilo, HI 96720

Participating in grief education classes and individual or group counseling helps the healing process. While no two people grieve in exactly the same way, for many survivors, a crucial part of the healing process is the support and sense of connection they feel by sharing their grief with others.

Kids Hurt Too

245 N Kukui Street
Suite 203
Honolulu, HI 96817

Kids Hurt Too Hawaii started in 2001 as a non-profit organization called Outreach for Grieving Youth Alliance (OGYA). It was formed after an advisory council identified three needs in Hawaii:
1) Support for children impacted by death, divorce, and placement in foster care. 2) Training for workers and parents. 3) Crisis intervention after deaths from homicide, suicide, accidents and disasters.
