We are always concerned that we say the “right words” when we are speaking with our grieving loved one at the funeral home. That anxiety is multiplied exponentially if we are asked to participate in the service by offering some reflections or the eulogy. What would be the right words to say during a eulogy?
Protestants are non-Catholic Christians who are members of denominations including Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians and Baptists. Each Protestant denomination will have its own traditions and practices for the funeral service. Each service would be officiated by an ordained minister or member of the clergy of the denomination. Family and friends may play a significant role in the planning and presentation of the service.
