Hospice of West Alabama (HOWA) offers Camp Daybreak, a one-day bereavement camp for children, ages 6 to 13, who have experienced the loss of someone close to them. Its purpose is to show children that there are adults who care about them and who want to help them get on with their lives. The camp has activities that are specifically designed to address the grieving process.

Camp Hope is a free, one day summer camp for kids and teens who have experienced the death of a loved one. For any child or teen between the ages of 5 and 15.
